a totally new thing

after working with kendra kinsey in january (photos coming some... time...) i decided to create a paper collage. this is kind of similar to stuff i had done on my big wall at my old studio and in sketchbooks but never really felt i could make something that was just that thing. i have no idea if that makes sense. anyway here is how it looks right now:

there is a lot of cutting and weaving into the paper, but there is some glue too.
this is the same drawing but earlier. i hadn't done any cutting at this point but there is a lot of stuff stuck in there with acrylic medium: thread, doilies, paint samples, fabric...
